Deshpande Foundation has always attracted interest from across India and the world for their achievements in creating vibrant ecosystems to nurture innovation and entrepreneurship. Fellows from the Tata-Center at MIT and researchers from Stanford University visited the Foundation’s activities last month to learn how we create and scale impact.<\/p>\n

The most recent high-profile visit was that of the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri Manish Sisodia who had heard about the Foundation’s activities in agriculture, startup incubation, social impact partnerships and skill development. He was thrilled to soak in the impact being created at the grassroots and said about our skill development program, “Deshpande Foundation is doing what the best of best universities in the country are not. You are building the real leaders of tomorrow”.<\/p>\n

Mr. Sisodia also visited our rain-water harvesting farm pond initiative and interacted with several farmers who have benefited from the water. He commended the Foundation’s overall efforts in bringing together multiple stakeholders and solving problems from different perspectives, creating maximum impact on people.<\/p>\n
